Im kinda doubtful we'll get Morlocks as well as Gorgons, seeing as the Morlocks were basically all the Legion's elite termies in one massive formation - but those immortals should be incoming biggrin.png

The Death Guard have the Death Shroud and the Grave Wardens. Rule nothing out. Especially since the Gorgons are a Terminnator unit unique to the Iron Hands while the Morlocks are the Terminator Elite of the Iron Hands.

The Morlocks are/were all Gorgon Terminators - Alan Bligh confirmed this back in May at the Heresy Weekender.

And?

Anything's possible.

Surely if all Morlocks were Gorgon Terminators there's no need to make separate models for both? Replying with "And? Anything's possible" is a bit stubborn, I could say the same about GW making a model for the Emperor's pet giraffe or something.

Is that all Alan Bligh said? That all Morlocks were Gorgon Terminators?

Because, if so, that means that there can be Gorgon Terminators that weren't Morlocks.

Saying all A are B doesn't on its own mean that all B are A as well.

Was there any need to make Destroyers with Jump Packs when you already have Destroyer minis? Or to make Iron Hand Legionaires?

Technically, no. You already have Destroyers. You have a bionics upgrade kit. It kind of falls under the idea "you build it, and they will come". Forgeworld is very pro-customer. If they think there is enough interest for the elite unit known as the Morlocks, just as they saw enough interest to make Iron Hand Legionary models, they will make it. If they decide there is enough of a difference to highlight "All Morlocks are Gorgons but not all Gorgons are Morlocks",

There is also the fact that there is no mention of the Morlocks in the Gorgons' unit entry. And there is another fact that within that entry, it makes mention of there being several sub-classes of Terminator within the Iron Hands.

There is even another fact that Night Lord fans were only really expecting Atramentar and Raptors. And then we got the Terror Squads. Completely out of the left field, and it worked fantastic.

There is also the fact that there are many people who are eagerly awaiting the Atramentar. We have nothing to make especially unique. Teleporters? The Justaerin have that. And once you get past that, all you got is a crag lion's skull on the shoulder.

So yes, I will be stubborn in saying "there is a possibility." Because "there is a possibility." Forgeworld has a habit of doing the unexpected and the unneeded, and making it work.

So, I fully believe that there is a possibility that Forgeworld will take an interest in the Morlocks, because such an interest exists. It might not pan out. It might be something small, like an upgrade kit. It might be models. It might be an entry. Don't know. But I am willing to wait and see.

lol

But that Badab War package has definitely piqued my interest.

It sure did for me too... I'd already been eyeing the BW bundle, so this really has me tempted now. Hopefully will still be available in January when I next place an order with FW :)

I thought it was the other way around - that all Gorgons are Morlocks, but not all Morlocks are Gorgons? There are pictures in Massacre showing Iron Hands in both Tartaros and Cataphractii plate, and at least the Tartaros one is definately listed as a Morlock - he even has the Avernii clan symbol (from which the Morlocks were exclusively drawn)
