If it is Typhon/us, the base perplexes me. Nothing wrong with it, but here's what we know about molded bases:

 

- Outside of the Legion Champion, none of the non-named Heresy models have a molded base. Indicative that it's probably a named-character. 

- He'd be the first stand-alone character, (that's not a Primarch), released by himself. 

- My bet is he's part of another duel or buddy set.

 

So who's he paired with?

 

I know you DG guys are gonna hate me, but I wish it was Khârn instead of Typhus. Not that this is 100% confirmed but I'm inclined to follow the bunch saying it is.

Totally behind on this, didn't even see the thread in the News section with a proper photo. So it's definitely Typhus, but he'll most likely be teamed against or with someone. Speculation inbound!

It would make sense to provide a character from betrayal and massacre in one release.

 

Garro could be in extinction but it wouldn't make sense as he didn't fight he tucked tail and ran

Both valid points. Perhaps Typhus is the first solo character released. After all, we still have the Grave Wardens.

They also said they'd never do the heresy or primarchs

He might be posed for a future duel. Fulgrim was released without anyone knowing that Ferrus was be on a dueling base. Maybe Garro/random white scar/random salamander will be the same.
