Armond
Well here are some pics of what I have been working on while going to school(Air Force school). Let me know what you think. They are going to the garage for primer soon. Then the paint comes! Squad 1 Close up of one that I like Squad two Close up of another I like from this squad Squad three Fave from this squad Terminators Fave Helbrute One of the cultists. They are all converted a bit with putty and some weapons changes. Everything in this army has putty on it. They are all WYSIWYG from what I can tell. I had to do some ctting and modifying to the models from the DV boxed set to make them all Plague Marines. Yes, so that is 3 units of Plague Marines, a unit of Termies, a Helbrute, and a a unit of 14 cultists(only a pic of one of them). I do have my Lord and Sorcerer, but they are not done, working on them still. Hope you like, C&C welcome! Armond
Yep, going with the brown ones. Have to make each Plague marine unit distinct so there is no question as which belongs in what unit haha. Armond
Keep in mind, none of these are complete. Just did some basic coloring on one squad. I went with a bone white type armor and then used some green ink on the Nurgle areas, and then some lighter green to blend it towards the armor. I always thought pink stood out well on Green, so I went with that. Anyway, nowhere near done, but some progress nontheless! BTW, all three squads are inked. Enjoy! Lachdannan
Wow, very nice. Must say that the leader from squad three is my favourite. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/270730-nurgle-marines/#findComment-3298273 Share on other sites
Armond
Glad you like him, I really enjoyed working on him. The putty part I mean, it was fun. I plan to do more, but with the poses of the DV Chaos stuff you only can do so much anyway. But he was perfectly set up to be given a good nasty belly.
