I'm a little late to the party on this but I really wanted to participate in the LPC this year with the release of the new DA Codex.  I've been a DA player since the earliest days of discovering GW and I'm really pumped about the new book.  My hobby time is limited between all my RL commitments, other games, etc.  So, to those ends I pulled out a ForgeWorld DA dreadnought that I bought at a Games Day probably 3 years back and I've decided to make him my vow.  These first couple photos serve as the pre-build update.

 

I've constructed a base for him out of old GW resin basing material I had sitting around and joint compound.  It's a recipe I use when making 15mm bases for other games and I think it'll translate well enough.

 

I ended up having to do some greenstuffing on the back of the sarcophagus where the exhaust attaches because the resin was so brittle that it chipped off when I was removing flash.  I didn't photograph it but if anyone wants a shot of it I'll take one before I prime.

 

The observant amonst you will notice that there is an arm missing.  I original purchased this model with a FW drill arm that got used in another project so I ordered a dreadfire arm the other day.  It just recently shipped so it should arrive shortly.
