The GK one makes him look too, well, GK-ish, and the Iron Armour helmet is cool but it needs a plume or something like the Command helmets. Unless you give it a unique paintjob to separate it out from other MkIII helms. A MkIV helm might look really good on him as well. Like I said though, loving the pose and that's going to be one beautiful miniature once it's painted. GodEmperorOfMankind Posted February 9, 2013 Author Share Posted February 9, 2013 Cheers for the reply, He'll be my Iron Warrior Praetor, leading a breacher/assault squad into the fray. I'm currently waiting on parts to make him into a termie praetor as well (same sword and helmet, once it's been finalised) . The Termie version will also be used as my Iron warrior lord in my 40k warband, making up some fluff for him as well. I'm not a fan of the plumes/crests, though the mk3 crest I don't mind so much. I know what you mean about the gk helm, I wanted consistency as I plan to use a gk termie helm for the termie version of him. Any other suggestions? Also which shoulder pads do you prefer? I could use that, maybe green stuff a Crest on the top? Warsmith IV Posted February 9, 2013 Share Posted February 9, 2013 If you're planning on using a GK Termie helm for the Termie version (incidentally, for Iron Warriors I reccomend putting him in Cataphractii-pattern, having read ANgel Exterminatus it seems a popular choice for Warsmiths), then why not use a GK Termie head on the artificer armour version? I use GK Paladin or Termie helms on all my Iron Warriors, power and Termie armoured, and they fit just fine. I think one of the studded or other non-standard helmets would work well. BTW, I love that torso. I used it for my Chaplain.
