Azamodos
I have been looking at sprues for the main turret of the predator and it does not look like there are two different ones to change weapon you can use.(I have not bought the tank yet.) In box can you easily change the weapons or not? Brother Anvilus
If you choose to magnetize the weapon, then it would be possible, seen a few tutorials about exactly this. without magnets on the other hand I'd say no, as the weapons are held in place with 2 little "axles" and if you cut these off to slip the weapon in and out, then they are too loose to stay in.Maybe get a second turret sprue then, so you have 2 turrets, each with a weapon option on it. First post here has example of how to do it : http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/233713-tutorial-magnetising-vehicles/ hope this helps. Azamodos
Thanks! That makes a whole lot of sense compared to buying a new turret sprue (which is $10 last I checked). Zopha
Magnets are the best option if you just have one predator. A second turret is handy if you have a rhino, you can leave the top doors unglued and swap it out so you gain a second predator. Magnets are handy to have to keep it in place as well :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/271254-sm-predator-turret-switching-between-turrets/#findComment-3304954 Share on other sites

tvih
Blu-tack. Holds things together fine doesn't require damaging the model and leaving magnets visible in some cases :P The siege shield might be an exception, I haven't tried of blu-tack can support its weight if you lift the model and such - BT Vindis don't get siege shields so mine is without one for now. Razblood
My Pred turret is set up so I can slide the weapons in and out without magnets, works fine as is and there's no looseness to be found.
