Spaniard
Hello all, Im a bit confused hopefully someone can put my mind to rest, in the codex it says a unit that deep strikes via drop cannot charge in the turn i arrives. The Warhammer 40K rule book states that any open top vehicles are assualt vehicles, so does the rule book trump the codex. Chaplain Lucifer
No, The specific rule of drop pod overrules the assaulting from open topped vehicles general rule. BigGumbo
In addition, the FAQ to the 6th Ed rulebook makes it clear that Assault Vehicles are still subject to the rule that you can't charge on the turn you arrive from reserves. That is correct. It's good to keep in mind against blood angel deep striking land raiders and grey knight scouting land raiders.
