SamaNagol
I haven't seen anyone be entirely dismissive or rude to him in this thread. We'd all love to hear how he got on. But I can't in good conscience let people run off to events with their Axe wielding Sanguinor when I myself have been told no at a number of UK tournaments. That's why I recommended to contact each TO before the event to make sure. Thankfully the Drunken Angel had no such problems. As he is, I don't think Sanguinor is a low tier or nerfed unit. I think he's very good actually. Suffers from weight of massed small arms fire but if you can run him with lots of Assault Marines and keep him within FnP range of a Priest then he is more survivable and his AoE buff is actually a lot more useful when you have a lot of infantry. What was your list and how did you get on? Drunken Angel
Okay I am over myself, I will put up a summary in a new thread. I was in an escalation tourney last weekend 40 players running armies from 1000 , 1500 and 2000 points. This weekend was an 1850 tourney both tourneys had top ranked NZ players. I ran weird stuff like The Sanguinor and when permitted a Caestus assualt Ram. I learnt a hell of a lot. Getting on a plane now writing tonight.
