Evening all,
This is my attempt at starting a MM force to call my own,
I received a MegaForce for xmas from the missus biggrin.png along with a assualt squad and a sternguard squad, since receiving said gifts, i have been stuck as to the scheme for my army, but after seeing some amazing MM from a few members of this board, i thought i would give it a crack!

Im pretty happy with him so far, yellow is a pretty unforgiving colour im learning but i love the scheme and from the little bit of fluff available it seems i will be able to cannibalize some of my old CSM models and kit bash galore!

C&C would be appreciated

Welcome Brother to the the Emperors finest! Great start you've made, and I know what you mean about the yellow, its totally unforgiving. Make sure you remove the taint of chaos from any bits you use, would'nt want there to be any confusion, lol. I'm sure our other Brothers will be along soon!

 

Can't wait to see some more progress.

Well, My Company standard bearer is 80% done, waiting to do the banner when i can free hand better!

Base looks a bit bland, may do more in my free time with them :s
As a side not, went through my bits box and had a pleasant surprise of finding 5 assault terminators with LC.

More join to purge the filth in the galaxy!

Hey all
working on my Champion 

and just after some feedback, Im feeling a whole barbaric vibe from the guy

So im picturing a baddass with a sword in one hand, a head torn from an enemy and screaming in hate.
so i made this, pretty basic but im still getting into all the converting, so my skills are mediocre but yea.

Im also working on my Company Captain who is just thrown together using the standard kit hes nothing flash but i like him. He's missing his head atm, but its another iron warrior head.

Straight to it, Working on my sternguard today

I have 2 squads of them and here they are.

Olis, I was just thinking that myself!  :blink:  It's good to see though ^_^  I have respect anyone who paints yellow Marines as it's a total pain in the arse to get right! :(

 

I quite like the Champion.  Sometimes a small conversion is better than a complicated one.  Small details often bring out and emphasis the bigger ones ;)  The dismembered head seems to be fitting for a Marines Malevolent mini, especially as his posture is saying "You're next!" ^_^

But i like the challenge and the learning curve with it.

Ex Deathwatch Brother Locasta, Squad Viprus

( from here on im going to try name all the marines, and Naming squads and hopfully writing some fluff about them to suit my needs/ modelling views. Almost all the models will have be dusted using weathering pigments of mud and sand, Im planning to make them in a specific battle on a desert planet fighting more then one enemy.)
