Jimsolo
Sometime ago I posted a request for advice on my homemade Vulkan. And here he is, menacing the camera. http://images.dakkadakka.com/gallery/2013/2/12/462891_sm-Vulkan%20pointing.JPG Next, we see him from behind, strutting his stuff to show off his stylish dragonskin cape.http://images.dakkadakka.com/gallery/2013/2/12/462892_sm-Vulkanback.JPG Finally, here he is showing off that shoulderpad which gave me so much grief.http://images.dakkadakka.com/gallery/2013/2/12/462890_sm-Vulkan.JPG Constructive criticism is always welcome. (Unless your suggestion is "shorten the spear," in which case let's all save each other some time and just skip it.) This is only my first Vulkan, and I am sure I will make another at some point in the future, so any advice is totally welcome. Jupiter Forge
Looks pretty nice, always liked Coverted Vulkans (I have the real model and I'm always too scared to start painting it as it's such a detailed peice!). The only thing I'll say is that Green Eyes with Green Armour seems to be a bit of a clash. Aside from that, looks good to me. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/271348-custom-built-vulkan-hestan/#findComment-3306234 Share on other sites
Jimsolo
Yeah, I was never a huge fan of the light green eyes against the green armor, but it's how they show them in the books so I just went with it. I just hope they don't change my color scheme again and make me have to do a repaint.
