TennisBall
The Dark Angels in particular have latin words around the borders of their robes and cloaks such as the Interrorgator Chaplain from Dark Vengeance and the artwork of Master Balthasar(?) fighting the Crimson Slaughter marines in the codex Is there a list of what these words are meant to be and a translation of them? So far all I've found is people wanting translations of words into latin, I'm looking for a list of the latin words that GW has used and what they mean. 'Vastatius Est' etc. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/271413-latin-phrases-question/ Share on other sites

Artemid
An implied "he/it" in there, mind, so it's not quite as silly as it sounds, literally. May refer to something else on the cloak we can't read or to the wearer in third person. Jack Hitchcock
I've studied latin... it's a particular form that implicates an order, the meaning is something similar to "unleash devastation" Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/271413-latin-phrases-question/#findComment-3306874 Share on other sites
