Gman
Now called Kantor Blue. I have a nice Alpha Legion army going, that was started years ago with Regal Blue for the primary color, which is now changed to Kantor Blue. And it better be a darn good match. But for my larger models, I hate painting them with little pots of paint, that cost a fortune as it is. Does anyone know of a spray paint that is a good match for this color? Preferably a flat or satin finish, but even if it's glossy, I can matt varnish spray after. ZombyWoof
I use Army Painter spray which is great, but you pay the price. http://thearmypainter.com/ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/271891-spray-paint-match-for-regal-blue/#findComment-3316719 Share on other sites
Gman
I have used their stuff, and like the paint, but I do not see a "spray" color their to match the Kantor blue. Their Deep Blue looks like it might be a match, but is not offered in spray. Now my LGS carries the sprays, and I have held my painted models up to the can of Ultramarine Blue spray, and the color looks dead on. Not sure how accurate that color swatch is on top of the can. I might just bigh the $, pick up a can of the Ultramarine Blue, and spray a test model and see if it matches when dried on the plastic. Raven Angel
Remember if you can't get an exact match go for a slightly lighter color. then you can use a wash to darken it up Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/271891-spray-paint-match-for-regal-blue/#findComment-3320159 Share on other sites
