Raven Angel
Well with the new DA codex my ravenwing has hauled my Land Speeder Tornadoes in for refit. We now have access to several additional chin mount guns including the Multimelta. With multimeltas in short supply in my bit box I wondering where you guys sourced these guns for your speeders? Leonaides
Mine came with, as they're all the old lead models... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/271916-how-to-melta-my-tornadoes/#findComment-3314773 Share on other sites
Reichfaust
Whenever I need bits I turn to ebay, there's a metric buttload of bits sellers on there, and most of them sell stuff for pretty cheap, especially if you live within the continental US. You'll often find multi-meltas from the Leman Russ sponson being sold by the pair for next to nothing, with a little bit of work you could easily make one of those work, I've used them to make a squad of multi-melta Long Fangs with great success. Erasmus of Baal
Alternatively, just take meltaguns, cut off the handles, and glue them together with any other bits and bobs you feel are appropriate for hanging beneath a Land Speeder. I prefer plasma on my regular squads, so I've got quite a few sitting around.... Raven Angel
OK so are there any other suggestions or examples of this on finished speeders? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/271916-how-to-melta-my-tornadoes/#findComment-3317826 Share on other sites

Gman
On my speeders, I still had the the heavy flamer, heavy bolter and multimelta bits from the original kit box. I magnentized the heavy flamer and MM for easy swap out. But glueing a couple meltaguns together is a good solution. Just filed one side of each flat, so you have a clean gluing surface. Maybe find something to add for a chemical cannister with it. Also, check out http://www.thewarstore.com/ for tons of bits.
