Styrbjörn
I like the ship and your paint job and I love the name :-) Nice to have a storm raven that you can fold and put in your pocket. Chaplain Admetus
Am I the only one that glanced at the first picture and thought "my word, that's a long storm raven" before realising there's a guard flyer in the background? On topic: looks pretty sweet to me! +1 to 'liking the freehand' Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/271990-space-wolf-stormraven-gunship/#findComment-3316102 Share on other sites

Vash113
that looks awesome! Thanks Freehand work on the tail is top-notch I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out, I try to do something similar for all my Space Wolf vehicles, something that represents the name of the vehicle in some way. I like the ship and your paint job and I love the name :-) Nice to have a storm raven that you can fold and put in your pocket. Thanks, but what do you mean "fold and put in your pocket?" Am I the only one that glanced at the first picture and thought "my word, that's a long storm raven" before realising there's a guard flyer in the background? On topic: looks pretty sweet to me! +1 to 'liking the freehand' Ah yea, that Valkyrie is part of my allied guard detachment representing Chapter Bondsmen, eventually it will get a paint job similar to the Stormraven. Nice! Love the freehand on the side. I'm glad the freehand is a hit, took a lot of practice to do and there's always room for improvement. Styrbjörn
In Norse mythology naglafar is the biggest of all ships built from the nails of the dead. As I remembered the cool thing about it is that when you'r done sailing you can fold it and put in your pocket, very practical don't you think . Much to my shame I'v come to realise that I mixed it up with another ship. Skithblathnir is the one that is foldable, Naglafar is the one built from the nails of the dead. Ah yes, there would be the confusion. While the Stormraven is hardly the biggest ship, it is the transport for my Wulfen Death Company so I thought the name fitted pretty well.
