Ammonius
Very nice! I especially like the repose, the use of plaguebearer bits, and the way you painted the rust on Manreaper. Azekai
Lookin' good! I am a big fan of 'openly posed' Typhus minis. His unconverted stance covers up a lot of detail. nurgling6688
Thanks everyone! Pose is fantastic - what arms did you use? His own and greenstuff. http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i317/tylerrox6688/typhuswip16.jpg Here you can see the way I cut up the original model. http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i317/tylerrox6688/typhuswip_zps5ec9705e.jpg Generally when I convert a model like this I try and use as much of the original parts as I can. GW's sculptors are way more talented then I am so its best to use their work with minimal sculpting. Verbal Underbelly
Beautiful paint job. I love how natural/realistic it looks. Actually could you let me know what colours you used on the severed heads please? nurgling6688
Beautiful paint job. I love how natural/realistic it looks. Actually could you let me know what colours you used on the severed heads please? Yeah, they are all a base of tallarn flesh in one way or another. One is straight flesh, one has a bit of shadow grey mixed in and the other has even more. I use different colored washes, reikland flesh, carroburg red, leviathan purple etc. they are all relayered with the base coat and they are all highlighted up using rotting flesh. Sorry that's all kind of vague, I went back with so many washes and random highlights I forgot the specifics.
