nurglespuss
Hi all, I picked up this beat up old whirlwind from ebay for a song, and decided to try and save it :). So, a few small additions, a paintstrip, some green stuff to add depth to the lighter-made-battle-damageand bobs your uncle. Fairly simple, but I'm pretty pleased with it, whatdo you think? I must admit, I'd forgotten just how heavy it is! I'll beputting some Steel Putty inside to balance it :) The original ebay pic: http://i651.photobucket.com/albums/uu240/nurglespuss/T2eC16hHJGwE9nyVUTiBRE_JJkeg60_1_zpsd7d909cd.jpg After a strip, and a bit of a change: http://i651.photobucket.com/albums/uu240/nurglespuss/IMAG2063-1-1_zpsf1e5fe4f.jpg Red! http://i651.photobucket.com/albums/uu240/nurglespuss/IMAG2073-1-1_zps7c90f5ba.jpg http://i651.photobucket.com/albums/uu240/nurglespuss/IMAG2114-1-1_zpsc5b97feb.jpg http://i651.photobucket.com/albums/uu240/nurglespuss/IMAG2117-1-1_zps8d566442.jpg http://i651.photobucket.com/albums/uu240/nurglespuss/IMAG2120-1-1_zps8200c8de.jpg What do you think? Xhris the Unpronounceable
As much as I admire the 'EAT THIS' sentiment of the original, I think yours is a much cleaner and classier look :-D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/272201-whirlwindyness/#findComment-3319389 Share on other sites
Olis
As always, I applaud this sort of work. Saving that whirlwind from Ebay is noble thing to have done indeed. The fact that you've given it a cracking paintjob is just (really fabulous) icing on the cake. Kudos. :tu: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/272201-whirlwindyness/#findComment-3319396 Share on other sites

Quite pleased as I now have 4500pts painted, as soon as I hit 5k I can start work on some mysterious allies ;p Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/272201-whirlwindyness/#findComment-3319467 Share on other sites
