Nicodemus Doloroso Posted March 4, 2013 Share Posted March 4, 2013 I'm using the new Citadel line of paints for my army, and quite happy with how they're turning out so far. I am "sold" on the new Citadel line. I'm wondering what would be the appropriate colour for a librarian, though? I hadn't thought to include one in my army, but at my local shop they do a 500 pt "Initiate's night" that I want to get in-on and I don't see a realistic way to fit Dante into that point level. So I thought why not to a cheap libarian using a spare Grey Knight model I have lying around. I see the two main options being: "Ultramarines": Macragge Blue --> Drakenhof Nightshade --> Altdorf Guard Blue --> Calgar Blue OR "Blue": Kantor Blue --> Drakenhof Nightshade --> Alaitoc Blue --> Hoeth Blue I would use the same blue for my Devastators' helmets. I'm thinking going with the Ultramarines sequence from looking at the paint samples on the website; seems like it's a lighter, more "pure" blue whereas the "blue" sequence has a bit of a grey tinge, but I'd love to hear from someone that has experience using the new line.
