templargdt
Hey guys, I'm trying to decide on a trio of colors for a winter camo scheme. My current thinking is this: base: caledor sky wash: drakenhoff night shade second color: fenris grey third color: ulthuan grey Highlight: white scar What do you guys think, would that work? Thanks! Deadpool1713
I'd say just go to google images, find a pattern you like, match the colors as best you can and go from there That's what I did for the urban camo pattern for my scout sniper's camo cloaks If it's camo cloaks in particular that you are painting, I can give you a link to a website with an awesome tutorial on how to paint them. Just let me know and I can give you the link one way or another! Anyways, the color scheme is up to you and what you think looks cool, they are YOUR models, and as long as the colors fit together well, it shouldn't really matter Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/272337-help-with-color-choices-for-winter-camo-pattern/#findComment-3321102 Share on other sites
Isador Sotho
Don't know about the new color range by GW, but this is what I did using Vallejo Game Color and old GW color range: Basecoat: Heavy Bluegrey Pattern 1: Codex Grey Pattern 2: Stonewall Grey Pattern 3: Charadon Granite http://pad3.whstatic.com/images/2/24/Paint-5.jpg Obviously I had issues with smooth pattern and this was my first try on camo cloaks, but it's a start.
