I would only attempt to do his with special chars/HQs. It is a color that stands out. 2.) I like how you used orange to differentciate from BA 3.) Nice use of NOT using gold (or not using TOO MUCH). It seems like all too often, gold (or simiilar) is all over the models, either pre-hersey or hersey TS, and it looks awful. 4.) Awesome flowing robes! How did you do this? Reminds me of a problem I want to do with mimicing flames from a flamethrower (flamer). 5.) You definately pimped out your rides, Xzibit would be proud! 6.) Where did you get the helmets from? Some are conversions for hersey (traditional) TS but I have no clue where you got the others. 7.) I think this army is good to go for either CSM or SM codexes, though obliterators definately not SM. The squad of 20 : Chaos warrior whithout horns and helmet from High Elves archers. For the first rubricae it's a russian sculptor (irina-est) and the last one it's maxmini. 7.) But i don't want to have 50 identical marines, so i made differents marines for each squads. The 20 squad is the 'just promoted' marines. They have the skills, but not the xp, so their armor are simple, no much decorations on it. The 3 squads of ten marines, are marines of different cults (raptora, pyrae), so their armor are differents between them. They are veterans, and they get better weapon and the 4++ come from their psychic power (and the skill veteran from the long war). I know, it's not exactly like the book say, but i want a nice army, and i want to easily reconize them (3 squads on contact, it's better to get differents minis). I love your paint job especially on the Rhino. I love the red, cream and gold combined, its fantastic! p.s.
