MustangTC
Would anyone use a unit with a divination rune priest and a number of wolf claws for rerolls to both hit and wound? Something like: RP Divination, TDA 4 WGTDA wolf claw + power fist/combi weapon I'm not sure on the delivery method as a raider would be best but too expensive and a drop pod wouldn't give them mobility for assault. 20 attacks +/- that would nearly all wound would be horrific to face. Maybe a couple of storm shields to protect them v AP2? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/272424-prescience-wolf-claws/ Share on other sites

jester262
I put my TDA wolf guard in a land raider. They work very nicely with all the re-rolls. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/272424-prescience-wolf-claws/#findComment-3322699 Share on other sites
toonarmy
i use it on my long fangs in the main but recently have used it to great effect with a unit of GH that i may have on a home objective. it means that after they have popped their banner they can still be buffed in combat. i would think in the list you have described it would be amazing. Even terminators would have a problem due to the sheer number of saves you are dishing out. skeletoro
Prescience is really good, but it doesn't do anything for wolf claws that it can't do for most other weapons. It's a force multiplier (for a single unit) - so it provides more benefit to units that are deadlier to begin with. Actually, sometimes prescience is less good for wolf claws than it is for other weapons. If you're in a situation where rerolling to hit is better than rerolling to wound (i.e. a high WS, low toughness target) then prescience essentially only "adds" a reroll to wound. Without prescience you would have been rerolling to hit (thanks to the claws). With prescience you get both.
