I'm going to be putting together a 13th company tdawing and I'm trying to figure out what to use as last name for my wolf lord that will be used for my rune priest. In my back store there will be 3 brother my wolf lord is Odin , the middle is Vili the rune priest and the youngest is Vé and he will be encased in a contemptor dreadnought. My issue is I can't figure out a good last name for them. If anyone has some ideas I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks all.

Here is a really good Viking name generator http://fantasynamegenerators.com/viking_names.php#.UTmbERyNmSq it generates 10 different names each time it will be perfect for finding a last name you like. I like Bjornson meaning son of bear it sounds pretty good

my heros and squads earn there names with deeds on the tabble ,i then pick on good for the dead such as wolfguard beowulf who solo slew a carnifex cool but he was just bp powersword . for example or squad einar who took down two guardian squads and a farseer in 2 rounds

It's a bit cheap but Skyrim has some good Viking names.

I'm Amway a fan of "something the something" for Vikings. Translating words from a Scandinavian is good too for example my WGBL leader is called Herrevakt the hansome. Which literally means Lordguard in Swedish.

*Shudder*  Internet translating programs. *Shudder* If I would translate "Herrvakt" to English it would be more of Guardman or Misterguard, a guard of a lord would be closer to Hövding väktare.

If anyone needs something English translated into Swedish, use me instead. If you need Scandinavian "viking"  names here is a good site, most of the names are taken from the poetic Edda, a collection of poems and stories taken from Iceland and Norway 800-1000 BC. http://hem2.passagen.se/peter9/eddaindex.html , I am not sure if the names are 100% right, but who cares they sound Vikingish. The names are in alphabetical order, there are both female and male names under each section, a good rule for not picking a female name is that many female name ends with vowel, but they can still end with a consonant as in Sif/Siv wife of Tor.

When it comes to the OPs question, either you go traditional and call them "fathers name +son" or something that can trace back to the brothers history, like Axebrother, Ironbrother or something similar as last name/title.

Just my ideas.
