morello Posted March 9, 2013 Share Posted March 9, 2013 How do chaps, need a little advise got a 2K match lined up against GK I've fought them once before and it ended in a draw. I'm thinking about rolling out the following; 2x Vindicators 1x Baal (flamer heavy) 10 man scout snipers (cloaks) 1 x dev squad ( 2xML,2xLC) 1 x ASM Dante 2 x priests (JP) 7 x DC (JP) If my maths are correct I'm left with 420 so im thinking to add some sternguard with combi melta/plasma in a DP or more devs+Aegis(he might have a raven). I am Legion Posted March 9, 2013 Share Posted March 9, 2013 No sternguard! They are a point sink in this case, as they will be chewed up in CC, and for what? 2 blasts from a heavy flamer? You'll only get once chance to use it before they are locked in combat. I say remove the JPs from the DC, that should buy you half of a stormraven. That thing can pop two vehicles per turn. Nothing worse for GK than to footslog across the field with our maneouverability. I say your list would work well with 2 more baal preds with Asscan & HBs.
