L30n1d4s Posted March 10, 2013 Share Posted March 10, 2013 Bit of a Deathstar here, but still I think could be pretty potent. Skulltaker on a Juggernaut gives the whole unit Adamantium Will and can absorb high strength shooting with his T5, W3, and 3+/5++ Eternal Warrior stats. Karanak provides another 3W at T5 and also gives the unit Scout and Rage. Bloodcrushers provide the meat of the unit, with lots of wounds and attacks... also, Champ can get an Aetherblade, giving the unit an AP2 weapon. Put it all together and you have a fast moving, hard hitting unit that can Scout, has Rage and high resistance to Psychic attacks (Adamantium Will + Karanak's immunity), and can absorb a lot of firepower between the two Heralds and the Bloodcrushers. Pretty /meh deathstar. Edit: Don't forget Skulltaker lost Rending and is only AP3 now. And Karnak seemingly has no CC weapons (lol). Cheex Posted March 10, 2013 Share Posted March 10, 2013 A unit can only be affected by one locus at a time, so Skulltaker's locus won't work until Karanak dies. Using the two characters to absorb firepower is easier said than done; this unit is screwed by any fast-moving firepower or barrages. One Manticore would seriously ruin this unit's day. I just can't see Crushers as being tough enough to use as a deathstar any more. Keep them cheap, IMHO.
