thor1234
greetings to all my missus has begun playing 40k for 6 months she's been playing marines (having a slight fetish for Bolter of any shape and size) she has waited patiently for GW to say 'anything' about a possible plastic future for the sisters, but has now run out of patience and decided to get a small 1000 point army together and start playing...... here list is shaping up nicley but she wants to run a Seraphim sister superior with an evisortaor, now as you will no doubt be aware the only miniatures that carry ecvisorators in a sisters force (that have models anyway) are the Repentia... my question is this: How are you modelling your Seraphim with Evisorators??? I see lists but no models, im just looking for a few suggestions... thanks Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/272666-seraphim-conversions/ Share on other sites
*Furyou Miko
I've not done it myself, but you could use the giant chainsword off the Canoness model, or the large chainsword off one of the standard Sisters Superior. The other option is to take a could of other chainswords and pin them together - Sisters or Eldar chainswords would be best to match the Seraphim since they're sleeker, but since Eviscerators are hardly agile weapons you could probably get away with just using regular space marine chainswords. Chop the curved tip off one and the powerpack off the other, drill a little hold in the now-flat surfaces, put a bit of paperclip or cut mesh or whatever in there and glue them together. The pin makes sure that the two halves of the blade line up properly. If you're doing it with one of the standard Seraphim models, you could also do the double-bladed chainsword method - basically the same idea, pin two chainsword blades together, but instead of doing them in line you do one either side of the hand. CaptainHelion
I've been using the Canoness model with the giant chainsword to represent a Seraphim Sister Superior with Eviscerator. One jump pack-generator pack swap later, and she's hopping about the battlefield, scything through AV12 with the best of them. I can just imagine that Sister Superior ploughing into her enemies, swinging that massive thing around in great arcs, cutting off limbs, heads and torsos in half. By Jove, I have to have a Sister Superior with an Eviscerator in my Seraphim Squad(s)! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/272666-seraphim-conversions/#findComment-3327790 Share on other sites
