Spaniard
Hello brothers, Im currently deployed in afghanistan and when i get home im going to build an enitrley new strike force of just ravening wing. I do understand that the battleforce comes with six ravenwing, an attackbike, and a land speeder with instruction to make it the saberclaw. My question is, are thier weapons also in the kit to upgrade the bikers with like the melta guns and plamsa guns and if so how many? Balthamal
The answer to that sadly is a no no. Best option for this would be to try and hit up any friends with space marines for the spare sprues Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/272677-battleforce/#findComment-3326191 Share on other sites

Brother Dallo
The Ravenwing Boxset contains 7 marine biker sprues, 1 attackbike sidecar sprue, 1 landspeeder, and 3 ravenwing vehicle upgrade sprues. These make a total of 6 normal bikers, 1 attack bike (with either multimelta or heavy bolter) and a landspeeder (with either multimelta or heavy bolter). The upgrade sprues include Ravenwing shoulderpads, bodies and a backpack, various Dark Angel icons suitable for many vehicles, some powerswords and additional landspeeder weapons (Twinlinked heavy bolter, twin linked assault cannon, typhoon missile launchers) http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat860013a&prodId=prod900139a The boxset DOES NOT contain any plasma guns, melta guns, flamers etc. You need to find these from other kits, or buy them directly. GW does sets of plasma guns and melta guns relatively cheaply, compared to bits suppliers so you may want to look into those. http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat860013a&prodId=prod1710020a http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat860013a&prodId=prod1710022a Hope this helped. EPK
There is also this, which is just the bodies (maybe even just from the waist up as that was how the old metal sculpts of these were). Though the above is probably more bang for your buck. http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440275a&prodId=prod1600064a Odd that they no longer sell bikes by the squad. I suppose new models for them might be on the horizon. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/272677-battleforce/#findComment-3326215 Share on other sites

cypherkk
Well, if you are feeling converty'. There are a ton of stoage (?sp) sets in the boxes. I took a couple of boltguns cut them just in front of the trigger guard and glued them to some stoage sets to look like holstered weapons on the bikes. Not sure it's worth it, but I'm not certain which weapon setup I'm planning on equipping just yet so until then, I'm using these to experiement with.
