Phoros
I would put Amit, Khârn, Sevatar, Argel Tal, Abaddon and Sigismund in a fight pit and just watch them spill blood everywhere Would this be post-Nuceria Khârn and Daemonform Argel Tal? If not, those two wouldn't stand a chance. Deathwatch/Grey knight
@Cerbero666, you want to see Kor Phaeron and Erebus fight all 10,000 custodian guards? Maybe if the two of them fought two custodian guards, it would be a good fight...I hate to break it to you though, they would not be able to beat 10,000 custodes.I'm not even sure two vs two would be a fair fight in their case and that's not just my Word Bearer hate shining through mearly that Kor Phaeron wasn't a real astartes he was a genebulked human. The only reason he is held in such high regard is because Lorgar <3 him. The rest of the legion basically mock him behind his back from what I can remember. And Erebus isn't exactly described as having an amazing combat record. Actually Erebus is pretty skilled with dueling close combat even though he lost he lasted with Lucius for 15 mins which I recall was the longest ever duel on the vengeful spirit And I don't think Abbadon has any skill like the others no Luna wolf really does have any skill not any that I've read anyway they fight dirty it's the Cthonian way that's how loken bested Lucius And you guys give custodes to much credit I mean remember the first heretic the custodes fight like warriors not brothers in arms I mean how many possessed word bearers died after they finally killed all 6 of em or was it more? I especially love the part when the custode breaks his oath of silence after he killed that chaplain Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/272685-non-primarch-fights-we-would-like-to-read/page/3/#findComment-3328517 Share on other sites

But I recall Khârn fighting with daemon possesed Argel Tal in Butcher's Nails and the guy could stand against him. I forget to put Lucius on that list too Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/272685-non-primarch-fights-we-would-like-to-read/page/3/#findComment-3328580 Share on other sites
Deus Imperator Vult
The Ultramarine from Iron Within (I forget his name) versus any of the other legions named characters, traitor or loyalist. That narrows it down, LOL No I know the one he means, he was awesome, he kills a Son of Horus by pinning him against a view port with his shield then stabbing him through it. Actually Erebus is pretty skilled with dueling close combat even though he lost he lasted with Lucius for 15 mins which I recall was the longest ever duel on the vengeful spirit And you guys give custodes to much credit I mean remember the first heretic the custodes fight like warriors not brothers in arms When was that spoken of? I've read every heresy book (appart from limited edtions cause thats just games workshop being money grabbing) upto Shadows of Trechery and I don't recall that. True but when Garro duels Qurarin (i think thats how you spell his name) Garro is described at being pushed to the very limits of his skill just to keep the castodian off him. Now Garro is a comperable swordsman to Loken (source: Legion of one) -who may or may not be as good as Abbadon-who is cited as being one of the most proficient fighters in the galaxy. [TA]Typher
I want to see Sigismund vs Khârn, hopefully when Terra comes I will get it :) It's a possibility. Lividjoker
A three way fight between Corswain, Sigismund and Lucius would be fun to see. I'd imagine it would end up with Corswain and Sigismund going at it near the end, would be a good fight though. Remus Ventauns VS any Word Bearer of note who needs their face smashed in........... so Erebus. Then we should have Agaptio and Branne join in somewhere, cant think of anyone for them to fight though of the top of my head that hasn't been used already. Maybe Barban Falk AKA, The Warsmith and Honsou if he turns up again. Maybe somebody else can find a more suitable match up for the Nev brothers. I especially love the part when the custode breaks his oath of silence after he killed that chaplain Yeah...they don't need to fight like brothers. Why would they? They are bodyguards, their loyalty should be ONLY to the emperor. Also, it is smarter to do it that way. For the same reason full size squads of dreadnoughts would be the most terrible thing ever: concentrating too much force on a single point. When you are literally the most powerful warriors in the galaxy, there is no reason to cluster together. It makes it easy to kill you with massed fire, with artillery etc...simple logic. The Word Bearers were saying their fighting looked wrong simply because they were used to seeing space marines fight. Their analogy of lions to wolves was spot on: a lion will murderize a wolf every. Single. Time. If they attack a single lion in a pack, they might take it on. If they take on an entire pride...it wouldn't end well for the wolves. Also, there were three custodes left alive, and they killed 7 of the 11 possessed attacking them. Custodes>Possessed marine>marine. Don't think he'd last ten seconds against any of the First Captains/Legendar Heroes. Think about what he's up against: Forrix kills titans with his fists, Sevatar is so fast other space marines look almost like they're moving in slow mo (plus he surfed a bomber), Ahriman's spellcasting doesn't even need a description, Sigismund....just Sigismund. Created the angriest chapter in existence. Created the angriest chapter in existence. It's hard to say since Tauro is one of Roboute's champions.Considering that Tauro won his fights in Iron Within with a Gladius and Storm Shield, he'll be no pushover in a fight. Since the Tetrachs rank higher than the Ultrmarines Chapter Masters its hard not to see them as kicking ass. Though these guys are at the moment under-developed for proposed encounters with some of the more known Captains and Chapter Masters. I'd love to read Branne and Agapito ambushing four plus alphas just for the symetry Maybe Branne and Agapito vs Ingo Pech and an Alpha Legionnaire who is really Alpharius because that's how they roll. Then it would turn out it wasn't the Primarch just some guy who drank some of his blood.
