Entei
Amit vs anybody. I want to see what somebody the World Eaters felt the need to call "the flesh tearer" can do against some of the 1st captains (I think he'd rank higher than Raldorian who I see as a better all round general) Unfortunately, Raldoran (1st Captain) and Azkaellon (founder of the Sanguinary Guard) have no character whatsoever. They read like two no-personality, no-name, vanilla marines I disagree. The thing with Raldoron is that he views himself as a simple soldier who prefers to lead by being an example. He remains open to unconventional tactics and seems to avoid combat when possible. Azkaellon on the other hand is pretty authorative and doesn't really trust anyone. He always fights with pride and grace. They do have character, it's just that Amit outshines them both, in my opinion. Btw, does anyone know if Kargos Bloodspitter is alive in 40k? Kol Saresk
Well, in the really old fluff, there was a picture from one of the older Chaos Codices(don't know which) that had him named as the guy in it and also had a quote for him. Wade Garrett
Isn't that quote about him happily embracing his imminent death? helterskelter
After researching what a meteor hammer is I'd like to see alaistor rushtal vs nykona sharrowkyn potentially Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/272685-non-primarch-fights-we-would-like-to-read/page/6/#findComment-3484623 Share on other sites
Kol Saresk
I would rather see Delvarus with the meteor hammer. Beat 25 World Eaters one after the other with one of those. And he has to be good since he's normally stationed on a ship. Not exactly a whole lot of room to swing around a chunk of metal on a chain so it'd end up taking skill to use. I found the quote: “Though the gates that stand between the mortal world and the immortal Realm of Chaos are now closed to me, still I would rather die having glimpsed eternity than never to have stirred the cold furrow of mortal life. I embrace death without regret as I embraced life without fear.” – Kargos Bloodspitter, Champion of Khorne I bet he said that right before Amit tore his hearts out... Entei
I'd be quite disappointed if Amit didn't kill anyone of importance during the Siege of Terra, and Kargos was his former friend and arenapartner so it would make narrative sense. But I'm biased since I play Flesh Tearers I guess. Kol Saresk
Maybe Amit is the one who leaves Khârn on a pile of bodies. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/272685-non-primarch-fights-we-would-like-to-read/page/6/#findComment-3484745 Share on other sites
Entei
No matter how much I would like that to be true I reeeally doubt that's gonna happen. Amit(despite his popularity) is a too minor character to be the one who slays Khârn. My money is on Sigismund there. Kol Saresk
But at the same time, Khârn's death was so minor that the person who killed him wasn't even mentioned. So it could go either way. Nemisor
Amit v any EC (mainly lucius) would be funny to hear Amit call lucius "princess" then curb stomp him. or Amit v Azkaellon.......he just needs a hiding. Conn Eremon
Assuming Amit survived long enough to kill him. Old fluff has him leading the Flesh Tearers Chapter for a time, so excepting any potential retcons he will be alive during the Siege. Whether he is present, or noteworthy, is a different story. Kol Saresk
I was referring to well after the Heresy. How far in history Kargos makes it versus Amit. Amit might kill him. Kol Saresk
A bit of both. I would like to see a duel between Amit and Kargos, I'm just not sure anyone will die since both make it pass the siege, don't they? I know at least Amit does. I would like to see a duel between Amit and Kargos, I'm just not sure anyone will die since both make it pass the siege, don't they? I know at least Amit does. All we know of Kargos is that he will become a champion of Khorne and die at an unknown date/place. Could be at Terra. Could be 10k years later. And that is if that quote is canon. Amit lives for at least a few decades after the Siege. Their fight would be interesting since they are infamous for their brutality in the WE arena... Conn Eremon
Amit lives for several millennia. The Flesh Tearers are fleet-based for several millennia before they take Cretacia as their home world. Amit is still Chapter Master at this time. I would assume that it takes at least four millennia to be several. Three would just be a few, two a couple. However, that's old Index Astartes fluff, and I think Amit being the first Chapter Master, present as a Blood Angel Captain during the Horus Heresy, is new fluff introduced by Fear to Tread.
