Here is the first model finished for my Scythes of the Emperor Project, haven't had much time to paint lately due to a back injury and work so progress on the rest of the army is a bit slow, hopefully more to come shortly

I rarely comment, but this is a phenomenal paint job and really captures the character of the Scythes.

yeah i've been trying to paint them gritty due to their now nomadic nature, the usual bright yellow didn't seem to fit that and i'm pretty happy with the result :)

I spent a bit of time waiting on the new codex to save me having to redesign my army twice (after 6th edition hit and then the new codex) so my army was on hold for a bit, almost finished my Captain will post some pics of him when he's done.

 

Nice to see another Scythes follower, at this rate we'll be campaigning for our own subforum soon :P
