I'd drop the Heavy Psicannon, and take a second Psycannon on the second Paladin Squad.

 

I'd also drop the PT and walk both NDK.

 

With just one PT, it's gonna be out ahead on it's own, and focused.  Use those points to get a Divinity Inquisitor.

 

You're going to have to ignore Fliers though anyway.

 

Paladin's are not scoring by default, Draigo makes them troops and allows them to score. If you're switching to an inquisitor, you're not going to be able to run a decent paladin list. 

Wut, I meant they're scoring with Draigo. OP was talking about 'Grand Strategy' applications. 

 

No one is suggesting he drop Draigo, the Inquisitor is additional 

 

 

 

 

Vindicare Assassin. He's a very easy 'First Blood' in that list, he'd be the first thing I'd shoot in your army.

Right a Little Update

 

This army build has now faced down Necrons, new Tau, BA, SoB and Nids

 

and so far im 4 for 5 ( Sisters kicked me a bit)

 

Dragio is a monster :) when you manage to get him to an army he prettty much walks through it :)

 

ok the dread knight usually dies by trun 3 or 4 and so dose the Vindicar

 

but it takes a lot of shooting to take the terminator squad out and the Paladins are quite happy to foot slog Dragio to the enemy and then let him off his leash

2x Rip tides

1 tank with special charictor rail cannon and 2 assult drones

1 drval fish with gun drones

2 path finder squads with 4 marker lights in each

3 fire warrier squads with marker lights in each 1 had the fire cardre with 2 marker lights

game lasted 5 turns turn 4 I killed his Rip Tides in glose combat with Dragio turn 5 I killed the Space Pope ( he gives up 2 VP's when he is killed )

 

end of game he had 1 objective 1 held 1 objective

 

I have line breaker and slay the war lord ( 2 vp's) he had first blood

Kill Points

6 turns Flyrant turned up

turn 1 not much happened killed some gaunts

turn 2 and was shot down by the termies

then stamped on by the dread knight,

Paladins killed gaunt squad Dragio rand for tervigons

Turn 3 Turvigon 1 died to Dragio, dreakd knight dwon to 2 wounds thanks to zoenthropes 2nd gaunt squad died to terminators 2 terminators die to over watch

Turn 4 Dragio has a Doom turn up in his face no wounds taken from leach life Dragio goes for 2nd tervigon and kills him takes a wound due to perils

Tun 5 doom takes 2 wounds to shooting from paladins hive guard die to 5 man terminators more wounds thanks to thropes

turn 6 Vindicar takes out Drop Pod in assult after shooting it , thopes in combat with dragio and diepaladins take 5 wounds from Doom

 

SoB

 

Penitant Engines are nasty they went through my Dread knight and terminators but Dragio went through 3 units of sisters solo

Vindicar forgot to bring his ammo to the party and ended up clubbing a serifim squad in to retreating

got tabled in turn 7

monolith went boom thanks to Vindicar

Dread knight killed the 2 walker scarabs in close combat but was on 1 wound at the end of it

flyer was shot down in turn 5

 

at end of game dragio and 2 paladins left moving with relic to my board edge he has 1 immortal unit and big dude left

^could you edit this please? I managed to get through it, but its really harsh on the eyes. 

 

Tau player was a moron for taking Aun'Va to a tournament. Going Fire Warrior heavy is also a bad plan. Nevertheless, I'm surprised the Riptide didn't give you more issues, that ion accelerator can be brutal on Paladins. 

Smashing Tyranids with Draigo is again to be expected, good work though. 

Sisters are...yeah Pentients and Exorcists are all they really have at this point. 

Necron battle sounded tough. It is interesting he brought the Stalker, I haven't seen much of locally due to the obsession with Scythe spam, or the other who just go AV13 wall.
