CrimsonFists333 Posted March 23, 2013 Share Posted March 23, 2013 If I equip my Vanguard with a jump pack and use the standard pistol/chainsword gear do I get, assuming they're charging and not using Heroic Intervention 2 attacks standard +1 for 2 CC weapons +1 for charge and a hammer of wrath attack do i get a total of 5 including the hammer of wrath? Azash Posted March 23, 2013 Share Posted March 23, 2013 Also just doing some math hammer at 175 pts VV's will net you (including HoW) 20 attacks. At 172 pts a standard assault squad will net you (including HoW) 37 attacks. The only thing your getting form the VV's that your not getting from the regular assault marines is access to HoI (see Res Ipsa's comment) and the free power weapon on the sergeant.
