It was interesting to me, that while there seemed to be a few terrific post-heresy nightlord blogs, I rarely saw one that did anything with them pre-heresy. Well except for a few "test" models here and there. I just got about 20 pre-heresy marines that are destined for midnight clad, so seeing what you can achieve with them is pretty inspiring.  Thanks!  Oh, and if I had to level a criticism... Flint13 Posted April 9, 2013 Share Posted April 9, 2013 Quick question... since the proteus's tracks loop all the way around (instead of going up under a cowling like the normal LR) wouldn't mud be tracked the whole length of them?  It looks really pretty as it is, but having the mud only near the bottom looks more like it has been sitting idle on a muddy tract of land for awhile, instead of charging across a war-torn battlefield to deliver a cargo of angry nightlords. I struggle with getting anything that doesn't look flat or like I just painted the front of the helmet white. Yours look awesome so far, especially your avatar's. (and that's a lot considering I'm a DA fan ;) ) Â Doesn't it seem odd that a NL would carry a vexilla? All that criminally background doesn't fit in with honor and rallying for humanity.
