Good battle, surprised the lootas didnt hurt you more. My mate runs two massive squads of them, make me sad they do.

To be fair they were a pain in the ass for me, took a hull point off the Pred, took all the Hull points off the dread, and the biggest drawback of them is that you have to account for them, you cant ignore them. When I play against Looters I try to get as many units as possible within their firing lines, giving the opponent a target priority nightmare, it also helps having the larger squads, and when I can use my support units to pepper them with shots and kill some. By pushing units down his throat it allows you to force the flank.

Just as a note for the future, last I checked Ork flyers can't hover tongue.png Filthy xenos tricks!

Hmm Ill have to have words with him, he was worried because he knew on his next turn he wouldnt be able to shoot at anything, as he would be beyond my lines and unable to turn far enough to target anything so he wanted to go into Hover mode. I dont run any flyers and so have never used them to know what can and cannot Hover..Ha ha....Damned dirty greenskins. However even in Zoom mode those dakka jets are annoying, took out both my Typhoons, and a handfull of men, Ive never faced an Ork airforce type list but i could imagine it could be tricky. Then again if i were facing an ork air force list i would deffo take my aegis, as they are a bit susceptible to STR7 quad gun shots.

Glad you guys liked it. Ive got a tough Nurgle list tomorrow night to face (video to follow), and then on April 13th our campaign starts, with all 6 games from round 1 being played on the same day @ 550pts per game (once again all videos to follow).

Actually there was something i noticed about the fighter. When it moves it can pivot up to 90 and then go between 18 and 36 i assume like other flyers, it can not then pivot a the end and can only shoot what is in front of it, I saw one turn where it had obviously pivoted, moved, the pivoted back to shoot at you, I do believe that doesnt work.

Not without the 'Vector Dancer' special rule (which allows an extra 90 deg pivot after you move only)
