Barakel
Amit getting pommeled in the guts by Sanguinius but still stands by what he said. Argel Tal getting knifed in the back by Erebus. Should have listened to Raum, totally unexpected Khârn demanding a Sanguin Extremis bout with Erebus for what he had done and owning him. Custodian Athiair
Khârn demanding a Sanguin Extremis bout with Erebus for what he had done and owning him. That was so cool, just seeing Khârn doing what he does best, against someone nobody really likes (such a snake) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/273258-favourite-scene-of-the-heresy-so-far/page/2/#findComment-3350503 Share on other sites
MordentHex
Khârn demanding a Sanguin Extremis bout with Erebus for what he had done and owning him. That was so cool, just seeing Khârn doing what he does best, against someone nobody really likes (such a snake) Not only that, but the fact Kharne is actually toying with Erebus and seems to actually get bored! An epic kick to the ego! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/273258-favourite-scene-of-the-heresy-so-far/page/2/#findComment-3351473 Share on other sites

afropirg
Amit getting pommeled in the guts by Sanguinius but still stands by what he said. Argel Tal getting knifed in the back by Erebus. Should have listened to Raum, totally unexpected Khârn demanding a Sanguin Extremis bout with Erebus for what he had done and owning him. The whole epilog of Betrayer was epic. If you have a chance to get the audio book get it. Well worth the price. Horus warning the deamon inside Fulgrim that he will free his brother. Angron going berserk on Guilleman (i really enjoyed Betrayer!) Horus talking with Sanguinus after he killed one of his own who fell to the red thrist. Excessus
I like the little scene from "The Serpent Beneath" where Omegon gets stuck in a counter-ambush when he is supposed to make an ambush and Omegon feels a little proud for his adversary, with him being an Alpha Legionnaire too... The sergeant was drowned out by his own pistol for a moment. 'The dormitories don't exist on this level. The schemata misled us. We walked straight into a firefight.' Omegon felt his lip curl into an involuntary snarl. Also missing from the base schemata had been the secret entrance to the psi-penitorium through a dummy cell at the bottom of the side passage...//...Now the ambush Omegon had planned for the requested legionnaires had been thwarted by a counter-ambush - mixed in with feelings of anger and frustration, the primarch couldn't help but feel a sting of pride at Janic's tactical prowess. Commander Arvas Janic! He's so perfectly Alpha Legion that he even misled his own primarch! Secrets and lies indeed!!! [Edit]: Yes, I am a total AL fanboy! The Sandman
The ending of the Nikea section in A Thousand Sons were Magnus displays how stupidly powerful. [TA]Typher
The ending of the Nikea section in A Thousand Sons were Magnus displays how stupidly powerful. Ahriman, one of the most powerful psykers of 40k, mind almost explodes just from looking at him. Oh thats a good scene. How about when the Emperor stepped down from the dias. The force of his will lushing Magnus back in his seat, pinning him there while the Emperor stripped thoughts from his mind. I think that is why psykers where banned. I think the big E saw what Magnus did. It was really cool to see that even a being as powerful as Magus pales in comparison the the Emperor. Edge-of-Infinity
I think for me my favourite scenes in the HH so far are: The birth of the red angel in Fear to Tread. Vulkan taking a thunder hammer to the Eldar construction in Promethean Sun Fulgrim taking on a Titan (I think it was a titan) in the book the Reflection Crack'd. (I think it was that story) The Word Bearers legion kneeling to the Emperor, the Sigilite and Roboute Guilliman on Monarchia. Guilliman taking an anatheme and shrugging it off in Know no Fear Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/273258-favourite-scene-of-the-heresy-so-far/page/2/#findComment-3353970 Share on other sites
Edge-of-Infinity
Oh I forgot to add another scene: Angels Exterminatus in the last battle; I can't remember the names but it was an Emperor's Children soldier using a sonic weapon against a deaf Iron Hand only to find it doesn't work, and then get ripped to shreds by a Volkite weapon of some sort.
