Xenos Inquisitor have stronger place now in 6th

Hi there just wanted to put this question out there

Is a Xenos Inquisitor a godo choice to take now for grey knights in 6th or more to the point is the PLasma syphon worth its point now, what with a lot of armies going back to using plasma weapons again? I can see it being a Neat little trick against dark angels.

I personally can't find a good way to use the plasma siphon. Short-ranged, on a model that is difficult to use in a unit that has to be up close and personal with enemy plasma units to make it worth it...

I'm not sold on the idea. But I would love to hear if anybody has regular success with it. Delivering the siphon someplace useful is the big problem....

I assumed you would say so b/c of the rad grenades ......

Heretics Inq seem to make a better case, too - null rods to ignore psychic powers (note nothing says he can't still CAST one, it just has to be directed at a different unit),

and a lot more psykers out there screams for the BS10 thingy to shoot them to pieces (non-deviating plasma cannons/psyker templates anyone?)

Siphon is a joke, don't try and make it work. It's so cornercase it'll never come up in a normal game.

Hereticus Inquisitors are definitely cool, if you fight enemy pyskers regularly. Most of the top armies and Ally hybrid forces include psykers these days (Rune Priests are getting around a lot), so auto-hitting plasma cannons is pretty hilarious. Not to mention the look of sheer horror when you open up with quad psycannon on an enemy unit containing a psyker (2+ re-rollable to hit).

Xenos are more for melee warbands or melee PA units, the grenade belt applies to melee only.

Malleus are the flexible BFF for Knights, as they are the only Inquisitors with TDA as an option.
