Ok dokey, guys I just finished 2 more Rhino's for the army and here are the pics. So the to do list is now 2 x AB with Multi -Melta and One Storm Talon. When this is complete I will then move onto 10 kit bashed stern guards with a  land raider. Unless anyone else have any ideas to improve my 1500 to 2000 point list. But I plan on making my terminator assault pretty soon with magnets. I need your guy's opinion on this but what if I used Gullimans Blue Glaze on my mini's? Would it do good?

 

EDIT: When I finish this project, I will then build a Warhound Titan from Scratch.

I haven't yet. I just have no clue although i was thinking about this, but will change the colours though. Any ideas? I just need something simple to paint as Im a beginner. But what do you think if I put blue glaze on these minis?

I thought your one idea was good . paint a white sword then but use a white ultra symbol upside down . On the glaze no my opinion they look good as is.

Painting a Chapter badge in the shape of star like that is an absolute pain, I speak from experience

Looking pretty good overall, I'd only bother with the Guilleman Blue if you plan on adding an extreme highlight or drybrush of a lighter blue and only then in order to smooth out the transition. From what I can see though it would be unnecessary with the way you're painting them :)

Thanks Guys. Sweet, I guess I wont do the glaze, but i still dont have an idea of the chapter icon. I was thinking a red "U" with lightning effects with a sword down the middle.

What would the U represent? Ties with the Ultramarines?

I did a quick mock up on paint

The burning brand to represent zeal and the stars to represent celestial.

Obviously you'd need to change the colours so they'd show on your pads though

Just an alternative idea for you

Dude that looks sick! Thats awesome. I want to use it but I don't know how im gonna paint that. Any ideas as to what colours I should use?

White or Yellow would be a good choice, as for painting it I advise breaking it down into shapes ( for example the brand would be a triangle, a line and a small circle) and practicing on paper with a pen until you are comfortable doing the shapes at the correct scale and then practicing with a brush till you find it simple . All you have to do then is put them together :)

 

It seems like it would be hard, but trust me practice a few times and I reckon you'll have it down ;)

 

An alternative would be to find someone on here who makes decals and ask if they could do you a set :lol:

Thanks for the chapter symbol. Im just going to get someone to make custom decals. But be on the look out as I've ordered a Storm Talon and 2 x AB with MM.

Those are the things i bought. I am going to use those bits and buy more bits to build soon. But I got Semester exams soon so I wont be able to build or paint for another month at least.

You could cut a stencil out of white card? or just plain card and spary it on. Colours maybe red, yellow, a pale blue or white? Like the grimness of your colour scheme and the HQ guy is awesome never thought brown trim would be such a nice thing till now :) keep up the good work
