Yep. Been playing mono Tzeentch and only the horrors have to
take the codex powers. Last few games, I haven’t even taken any change power on
my heralds, trying to get misfortune.

 

Even better, CSM sorcerers can get around the restrictions
by not taking a mark. So I rolled 3 biomancy powers. Put enfeeblement on a terminator
squad and doubled down the lords toughness, ID him with something like 34 twin
linked S6 shots that he had to rerolled all of his units saves.
