ChaosLord Leon Enaek
Glad I raised a smile :) I'm also aware of the irony given my current picture... Ah well, the Imperium runs in hypocrasy. [TA]Typher
Corax: battle of bikini Bottom. After his sub human, Patrick-esk, showing in Deliverance it's the only logic next step. Malus Trux
It is third time we see Corax in a cover, interesting. In a third set of wargear no less. Lightning claw, whip & jump pack. Claw & whip, no pack. Twin claws & jump pack. I wonder what they're going to officially give him whenever FW gets around to the 19th Legion. On a different note, I REALLY wish it wasn't a limited novella as £30 is a bit steep for me at the moment. Well I guess I'll see what I can scrounge up before they end it. Jarl Kjaran Coldheart
i was extremely interested, and then I saw the limited edition novella bullcrap. I refuse to buy into that. Ekim_Trub
I always thought Corax's "official" wargear was his one-off Flight Pack and twin Lightning Claws, as well as his uber-Whip of Awesome carried as a ceremonial/back-up weapon. Brother Hadafix
"We have so many eyes - how did we not see this coming?" Eyes? Those are Mars sanctioned varifocals! [TA]Typher
Sooo the Raven Guard fight the mechanicus? Seems like a step down from fighting astartes. I really hate the way they have written Ferrus and Corax. They both come off as inept, weak primarchs. Jarl Kjaran Coldheart
more importantly, Corax's thrashing the Mechanicus allies of Horus may deprive Horus of numerous supplies needed to wage war on Terra. Without bolters, bombs and bayonets, besieging Terra is a bad idea. Arachnid99
Why the hell do BL do these moronic Special Edition releases? So many people, me included, are never going to stump up £30 for a novella but would happily spend £6 or 7. I don't know the economics behind it and maybe BL make more from pocket beating a small number of people than getting a much larger group to pay a reasonable price. But have they considered how effectively excluding the majority of their reader base from chunks of the story is going to impact on the willingness of those same people to keep on following the Heresy and thus buying the regular editions? I just read spoilers online, get it from another source if possible, and impatiently wait for them to release it in a anthology form. But have they considered how effectively excluding the majority of their reader base from chunks of the story is going to impact on the willingness of those same people to keep on following the Heresy and thus buying the regular editions?I agree why can't they of just released it like a normal HH book then that way every one can buy it. With this stupid limited edition crap it's nearly impossible for those who like the HH to get the books they like especially if they live in other countries like NZ plus the price is a bit too much as well, this is the third limited edition book (there was that salamanders and white scars book as well wasn't there which both looked just as good), I like reading about the Loyalist Dropsite massacre legions especially Raven Gaurd and Iron Hands if they do the same thing for Iron Hands or the Siege of Terra I will be pissed. This book does look good though, title is a bit stupid but love the cover art though unfortunately I probably won't be able to get it thanks BL Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/273439-corax-soulforge/#findComment-3340025 Share on other sites
