Space Wolf Scout Backpacks

Hi, I've been waiting to get enough of the old style Wolf Scout Sergeants to make a full squad but was missing a few backpacks. Hopefully this will help anyone in the same situation.

This is the IG Sentinel plasma connecting pipes. I've used the squarer piece with the skull on for one side of the backpack and used one of the cylindrical pieces for the other side.

Use any normal marine backpack, cut off the circular vents and the square ones at the bottom. Attach the pieces from the plasma pipes to either side of the backpack once you've trimmed them to the proper angle. Add skulls, technical gubbins and pipes to taste. There we go one times old school style backpack

I prefer my scouts minus backpacks - I've always thought that whilst guardsmen are small enough that much like Light Inf. of this era they'd still be stealthy - our scouts are still 8ft muscle-bound giants, these guys just happen to be very quiet giants haha - so no backpacks for me :) nice idea though and they don't look bad :)

Must agree with the 8ft tall bit. The current range of scout miniatures while awesome for portraying  the neophyte/ just getting accepted into the chapter role aren't really representative of the truly awesome and elite nature of Space Wolf scouts
