Grushdeva
So if you take a Mortis Dreadnought, can you make it Deathwing? Or is this like the "Ironclad" Dreadnought where that is the special style it is. If so, I guess that would make sense, but I just want to clarify. The LR can take "Deathwing" as an upgrade. As Deathwing comes automatically with Venerable upgrade (under DA codex), did not know if we could apply same rule. If I can't take it as Deathwing I really am thinking about positioning a PFG character nearby to give it some better odds of lasting. Interrogator Stobz
The FW Mortis cannot be upgraded to be a DW Vehicle because it has its own set of rules. Any weapon loadout option for our DA-Dex Dreads can. No Dex here at work but I think I'm on the money. Take the PFG character anyway, then your cover goes with you as you own center feild (or anywhere you want). stobz Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/273590-mortis-dreadnought-question/#findComment-3340632 Share on other sites
Bryan Blaire
If you are talking about the actual Mortis Dreadnought from the FW rules, then no, it has no rules to be upgraded to a Venerable Dread. If you are talking about the Mortis-lite Dread twin TL-AC configuration, then you can definitely take the option to make it a Venerable Dread. Brother Immolator
The FW rules were released before the current dex right? Its only natural they dont have the option included. Onisuzume
They didn't have the old option for regular venerable included either, when others in the book had. Ergo, its by design that they don't get it. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/273590-mortis-dreadnought-question/#findComment-3340666 Share on other sites

I cant say I completely agree on that reasoning but...ok why not? :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/273590-mortis-dreadnought-question/#findComment-3340668 Share on other sites
