Snickers
I've read in numerous places online that the Wolves have fought against other marines, some going as far to have destroyed one or more of the lost legions. However with everything I've read I've never seen any specific quotes to refer to this. Can anyone post some quotes in support of this Emperor's Execuetionors theory?? Vash113
It is mostly suppositions and hints from the Horus Heresy series. Russ is referred to as the Emperor's Executioner on several occasions throughout A Thousand Sons, Prospero Burns and several of the books that followed. Whether the Space Wolves fought against the Lost Legions is not certain as far as I recall, instead of past deployments the Wolves stood as a threat as far as I read it, the Legion most likely to be assigned to be used against the others if they strayed, not that it had happened much, if at all, before. Grimtooth
Well we know they were sent after the Thousand Sons. We also know that they were sent against the World Eaters to make a point that was lost upon Angron. As for the two lost legions, that is only mjod tales around the fire. Marshall Bretton
actually it seemed more to me that russ took it upon himself to go after angron, but that might be me misinterpreting it, that doesn't change that they did it though Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/273603-heresy-wolves-question/#findComment-3341810 Share on other sites
