That's their job, to pave the way for the rest of the Great Company. Reduce their scatter &/or bonus on the roll to bring them in. By the way, is there currently any way to get them (possibly IA models?) in our army without taking allies? For me this is counteracted by the fact that we can put terminators into drop pods, which is a much safer way of having them arrive than deep strike as other marine armies do. Aye locator beacons would make our pods that much better, but its not something that i think we hugely need. It would be nice (and make sense imo) for our scouts to take them though. A much safe way which costs 35 points on a 5-man terminator squad .) I still think locator beacons on Scouts AND Drop pods would be great and perfectly logical. But...what do you want to deep strike? And for me theyre safe enough....although i like rift blades idea of scouts at least reducing scatter. Do locator beacons work with drop pods though? or jsut things teleporting in?
