Some GK questions for y'all

Heyo!  So I am looking into building a Grey Knight army after Adepticon, as I've been building/painting/playing with the same Chaos army for months now and I need a change of pace.  BUT I have some questions, and I want to figure out the directions I'm going in before I start buying models (at Adepticon, most likely!).  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

1) I know that for my CSM, Daemonic Possession doesn't negate the effects of glancing on passengers in my vehicles.  Does the GK vehicle psychic power negate it for JUST the vehicle, or for the crew as well?  I couldn't for the life of me find a definite answer.  I miss the hell out of Rhino rush and so if GK can do that it would make my day.

2) How are the regular Grey Knight troops in combat?  Do the power weapons make a big difference?  I was frustrated with Codex Marines for years because of how wimpy they were, moved to CSM, and now my Khorne marines lost an attack.  Against MEQ armies how do they normally fare?

3) I think this one's a no brainer, but if say a Grey Knight Grand Master is assaulted he can use multiple grenades, right?  Like the blind grenades and the psychotroke grenades, and maybe even Rad grenades?

Thanks in advance!

1) AFAIK, fortitude does not affect passengers. It would be nice to see a FAQ otherwise, but the way I understand the rules has fortitude only affecting the vehicle.

2) GKSS are marginally better than basic tac marines because of the power weapons. However they are not a combat unit, and I would not use them as such. At best they're good for cleaning up after GKs fantastic shooting.

3) yes, the GM can benefit from multiple grenades. However, I would careful spending too many points on an already expensive character.

Ahh okay.  I re-read it and it says "any crew shaken/stunned results already on the vehicle are nullified", but it doesn't say it nullifies them on the passengers.  Well that is indeed a pity.  The REALLY crazy part is it means I might actually take extra armor if I ever run Rhinos!  I know, stop the presses.

Yeah I am more or less going to treat them like Tac marines that can deep strike (when I want to do that) or can footslog.  I play very aggressive so my dudes always get in combat at some point!  I like Purifiers a lot and even thought of a not totally absurd way to run Crowe, but with Fortitude not working on passengers I'm not sure if I'll use them.  I think I'm gonna stick with a combination of Terminators and regular GK dudes, they are really versatile.

I know it's silly but DAMMIT I can't not.  I will have all the grenades!  Are empyriam brain mines as awesome against big slow stuff as I think they are?

Thanks for the advice dude.

More questions!

First, a modeling question: has anyone used regular Terminator heads with Grey Knight Terminators?  Do they fit okay/at all?

Second, a rules question: if an Independent character is with a squad of Terminators, can they BOTH use hammerhand to get a total of +2 strength?  I'm pretty sure no but I could be wrong.

It mentions specifically that Hammerhand and Might of Titan stack.  It doesn't say that two Hammerhands CAN'T stack explicitly, and it's not in the FAQ--but it's throwing me off that they specify for Might of Titan, implying that it might NOT be the case for x2 Hammerhands!  Perhaps it's just an older codex.  I can't find anything saying that you cannot in the Psychic section of the rules.

If this is the case, the Grey Knight Grand Master I'm building is about to get even more expensive.

Does anyone know if regular Marine heads fit in Grey Knight torsos?  I know it's a bunch of weird questions, I appreciate the help greatly.

Well that's completely amazeballs.  My Grand Master is going to be level 2!  With a master-crafted warding stave and digi-weapons, he's going to be sick in challenges.  I love the idea of him fighting a bloodthirster or something, staff in the ground, all like

YOU SHALL NOT PAAAASSSSSSSS

So now he comes out to like 280 points!  But that's okay.  Anyone else ever run a character equipped with a bunch of grenades?  I know it's silly expensive, especially with everything else he's going to get, but I love over the top HQ choices.  A leftover from fantasy I guess!
