How do you glue green stuff ?

Recommended Posts

I agree that super glue is the way to go

If I make purity seals I always put a spot behind them to make sure they bond.

If its a bigger piece I sometimes pin it by using a pin vice to drill a hole then use a cut paperclip and super glue. This give a really strong bond

You have not said whether you are talking about fresh, just made up GS or cured GS (12-24 hrs plus normally) such as mouldings etc.

If fresh, then glue is rarely required - just press on the model and shape then leave to cure.

The only exception to this would be when you are joining two metal or resin pieces together and they do not fit correctly - there is a gap. in this case, some super glue on each piece before putting a piece of GS on one and pushing them together will give a stronger bond and fill the gap. scrape off any GS that escapes from the gap to tidy it up. I would still consider pinnig as well if the two pieces are large enough.

If you are looking to put cured GS on a model, for instance a piece made in a press mould, then super glue is best.

I'm talking about the green stuff growing in my garden, how do you glue that ? Does it requires primer before painting ?

No, seriously, 24+ hours super dried sculpting green stuff made by GW.

Super glue works fine I just wondered it would work with plastic glue, thanks :)
