Brother Pablo
Hi Folks: I am working on putting together a Plasma Cannon from the Devestator box set. Last time that I tried it, it did not work out so well. The largest issue was that I glued the cannon to the body and the backpack to the body but not to each other initially and then tried to hook them up. My question is does gluing the cannon to the backpack before you glue it to the body an improvement? Gurth
The trick with all the Devastator-style heavy weapons is to add both the weapon and the backpack to the body before the glue sets. Make the weapon and the backpack separately, leaving off the left arm and body, and wait for the glue to dry. Then add the backpack and weapon to the body one right after the other, so you can adjust their positions so they fit. Add the left arm before the glue dries too; any problems with its position (usually, in my experience, that it needs to fit too far forward) can be fixed by simply taking care of where you put the shoulder pad once the glue on the arm is dry. That was going to be my plan in that I glue the weapon, and backpack. Then the arms and backpack to the body.
