ASSASSINAWOKEN
If the squad were to take a PF is it better to replace a PS or a PA? If the squad were to take a Banner which CCW should carry it? Same with Melta pistols. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/274962-sanguinary-guard-with-pf-or-banner/ Share on other sites
Riggs
I like 1 fist per sg. I run two squads of them, one with dante priest, the other with no one. The priest dante has the banner and 4 swords and the other 3 swords and 1 axe. I reaally dont like putting guns with them. I like more swords than axes because I try to hunt meq rather than teq, the ap2 is more for a specail character tagging along with them. The fist is just in case I need to pop a tank or get some kills on a fnp squad. Riggs
Oh I have the fist hold the banner. Then put him behind my guys in close combat to make it harder to put wounds on him, then he consolidates at I1 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/274962-sanguinary-guard-with-pf-or-banner/#findComment-3364104 Share on other sites
JamesI
I run my SG squads with 3 power swords always. The other guys are either power axes or powerfists. I'd give the banner guy the fist if you upgrade. Don't think it matters too much who gets the melta pistols. Don't get too many upgrades though. I think SG work best when kept cheapish.
