Gumo9
Just noticed that the Grey Knight digital codex is up for pre-order, due for release on 18 May. Don't get too excited though, the cover artwork is for the existing codex so no 6th edition 'dex just yet. Gentlemanloser
If anyone gets this (I haz no iPad), I'd be interested to know if we get any 'hidden' updates. Like Sicarus' AP2 Coup de Grace. IndigoJack
I'll likely get it, as I've found it much more convenient to bring my ipad to games rather than a stack of codexes. However, I haven't seen anything from GW about a digital version, and I didn't see it in the ibookstore. Where did you come by this information? Gumo9
Open ibooks app, click on "store" and search for "games workshop". It's there, priced at £19.99 with a sample for free download. IndigoJack
Pft, now it's there. Perhaps there was some kind of delay for the US store? All I know is I have one less book to carry around . Now if only they'd make the digital version of the IG codex available... Reclusiarch Darius
I've had my digital copy for quite a while. Geez GW, keep up Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/274963-digital-codex-up-for-pre-order/#findComment-3364589 Share on other sites

Gentlemanloser
I don't think RD is talking about the iPad only version. ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/274963-digital-codex-up-for-pre-order/#findComment-3369531 Share on other sites
IndigoJack
Haha probably not. Personally, I prefer the digital codexes over PDFs and the paper ones. Especially with the last few, everything has been laid out nice and finding special rules is easy Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/274963-digital-codex-up-for-pre-order/#findComment-3369594 Share on other sites
Reclusiarch Darius
If GW ever get round to making something like the War Room app that PP have made, I'd get interested. Quite honestly though, for the full-colour books they do, I prefer physical copies of GW army books. I hate Apple products, so I'm not going to be using their closed shop system until it goes to Android. Can anyone with the digital codex confirm this is the case or not? skarn
Well I got it, and the answer is no. :( Only think I could find was some very minor cleanup of rules, ie the Champ's sword has the shred rule. Preston10K
Well I got it, and the answer is no. Only think I could find was some very minor cleanup of rules, ie the Champ's sword has the shred rule. So does this include all of the at present GW FAQ sheets? Being digital I assume it updates with rule changes etc? (I know there havn't been any since its release) I'm considering getting it for those very reasons if so!!
