Dark_Master
Hello , I have magnetised several arms on the past, trying a new method. Requires 2 magnets per side. However when complete you can add any different arms as the magnet is located on the pad. Pictures explain better http://i1294.photobucket.com/albums/b606/Dark_master1/null_zps63e00da8.jpg http://i1294.photobucket.com/albums/b606/Dark_master1/null_zps9ecf8ba7.jpg http://i1294.photobucket.com/albums/b606/Dark_master1/null_zpsc89ffa55.jpg http://i1294.photobucket.com/albums/b606/Dark_master1/null_zpsd94695e1.jpg What do you think? Freakiq
Very nice, never thought about doing that. What are those metal staves? Here's what I do: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/274970-magnetising-pads/#findComment-3364188 Share on other sites
Dark_Master
Very nice, never thought about doing that. What are those metal staves? Chopped up paper clips. 3 seem to give the best thickness. Like your method too. DM Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/274970-magnetising-pads/#findComment-3364204 Share on other sites
Komodo
Nice one. You don't need to paint shoulder pads for every hand that way. Clever. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/274970-magnetising-pads/#findComment-3364207 Share on other sites
IanSturrock
Very nice. Saves a fortune on magnets too. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/274970-magnetising-pads/#findComment-3364222 Share on other sites
Tanhausen
I have some 20 magnetized terminators...with their pad glued :S Like your system best, though freakiq's is VERY smart... Raven Angel
I find the penny nails make a great metal source and are reasonably cheap. If you take a single nail with the ends cut off and glue it into the body you can save 2 more magnets and not have to worry about polarity problems.
