Halestorm Posted May 8, 2013 Share Posted May 8, 2013 Hi Guys, So after painting nearly 10000 points of my Tyranids in the last year I needed a little break so I thought of doing some power armour but for the life of me I could not think what army or faction to choose. I kind of didn’t want to spend a butt load of money on Space Marines again either, so with the help of some good friends and some every day bits and bobs I have been cobbling together the start of my 1000 point Dark Mechanicum army using the Chaos Marine codex to gain access to the Heldrake J The Flames Of Mars So instead of going straight for the juicy Heldrake or the Maulerfiend I decided to get some of the hum drum items out of the way, so Tactical squad 1 is first. Sargent Rocket Launcher Melta Gun 7 Bolters Each individual Marine will be heavily converted from my bits box, I will be using the torsos and shoulder pads from the rhino chassis sprues where I can. I will be adding in some chaos bits here and there but not much. Anyway here are the pictures of the first 3 Marines.
