Best glue for FW vehicles

Ok, I`m happy to use supeglue for your "normal" sized models from Forgeworld but I`m beginning to move into some of the larger models, particularly vehicles and dreadnaughts.

 

What type of glue would people recommend?  Super glue or epoxy resin?  Maybe there is something I haven`t thought of?

I use Zap-A-Gap's Medium CA+ for all my ForgeWorld stuff. If it's a big joint it get's pinned first to give additional strength. :)

I just use superglue - whatever is your favoured brand. As long as the resin is prepared first (washed, distressed/scratched and pinned where necessary) you shouldn't have a problem. More likely for the resin to break than the bond, which is a pain if you want to take anything apart again.

 

Edit: I've never assembled a FW super heavy nor flier, so I don't know if it would work for them. But for standard vehicles, including Dreadnoughts, it works fine.

Loctite Superglue for me - but I use that on both plastics and metals, in addition to resin, without issue.

Depends on the weight of the part and the forces the joint will be subjected to. For larger pieces like hulls, dreadnought legs and bodies, etc. I'd recommend epoxy, while superglue will do fine for the smaller parts.
