Making a carry case

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, just the other day at school one of my teachers was throwing out some power tool cases. So I asked for one with the idea of turning it into a case for carrying my models.

I suggest sound insulation foam — buy a sheet in a hardware store and cut it to fit your carrying case. Two pieces of this, with the points towards each other, will hold normal figures easily; if you have bigger models like dreadnoughts etc., you can combine it with styrofoam chips.

I've used almost nothing else to carry my gaming models for the past decade or so, though with a bit more style than your plastic tool case:

Probably, but I'm not a military veteran — just someone who was in need of a sturdy box to carry models in, when my eye fell on those, that I had bought about a decade earlier as reference material for real modelling. And admit it, if you are going to carry wargames models around, this is probably the most style you can do it with smile.png
